Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is known for the roles she played on Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her career in showbiz at a young age. She was a lead actress in dramas on television as young as 16 years old. She was praised for her portrayal in Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. Additional Oscar nominated films featuring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra's career has seen her work on a number of notable international and national projects. This includes the British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and French historical miniseries Napoleon among others. She also served on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
