Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney is a lawyer from America and Lebanon. She is also a human rights activist and philanthropist. She was born Amal Ramzi Amuddin. Following her graduation from the Oxford University School of Law she went on to pursue a successful and long-lasting professional career within human rights and international law. Her prominent clients included countries like Armenia, which was fighting for recognition of the Armenian Genocide in Turkey. Amal Clooney was engaged, and then was married to American actor George Clooney, instantly making her one of the most famous names in pop culture. Her name was well-known and admired for representing clients successfully and with expertise in the legal field years before. From tackling human and social rights concerns, to representing several multi-national corporations in court cases and negotiations concerning the regulations of government. She is now a barrister, which is the name given to a lawyer working in British courts.
